Some Questions

What is most interesting about each of Robin Hood, Ned Kelly and Jesse James?  To what degree was both the biography and legend of each shaped by the society from which they emerged?

How would you begin to compare and contrast the legends of Robin Hood, Ned Kelly and Jesse James?  What patterns recur?
