LOCAL COMMUNITIES MINI-PRESENTATIONS
The Mission
To engage in some informal research about a local community. This will involve some on-line research but ideally also some sleuthing on the ground as well. What can you learn about the history of this community if you move from place to place wearing your historical glasses? You should both take some notes and take some pictures.
The Product
a) You will cooperate together with a few of your classmates and share an informal mini-presentation, ideally including slides, with the class.
b) Several of you will choose to use the research and photos associated with this exercise as at least one main focus for your Connections Project.
