An assignment consisting of condensed biographies of selected figures from Spain's history.

Places And Themes Mini-Presentations

An end-of-the-semester project that will ask you to present a Powerpoint to the class on a selected theme on Spanish Civilization from a provided list.

Class Preparation And Class Participation

A component of the grade that will be based both upon your pre-class preparation; your willingness to contribute thoughtfully to full-class and small-group discussion; and your completion of regular small homework exercises.

Self-Evaluation

You will be asked to assess your own approach to your studies.  I will provide a template both to guide you with your evaluation and to help you to critically reflect upon your own approach to learning.
